What are suggested solutions?

Grand Rapids Public Schools Superintendent Teresa Weatherall Neal is embarking on a listening tour for the next phase of the Transformation Plan. Students, parents, staff and community members are invited to attend and provide their feedback on four questions:

  • What is working?
  • What is not working?
  • What are the barriers?
  • What are suggested solutions?

Superintendent Neal said, “In January of 2012, I embarked on my first listening tour, and I don’t feel like it has stopped yet. From the moment I took over as superintendent, our students, staff, and community have been bringing us their thoughts and suggestions. That insight is incredibly valuable as we move forward with the Transformation Plan. I look forward to bringing everyone together to share their thoughts and ideas.”

District employees, parents, students, volunteers and community members who are not able to attend one of the listening tour dates are encouraged to provide their feedback and suggestions by completing the Transformation Plan Listening Tour 2017-18 Survey.
