The goal of the event is to assist students at Innovation Central High School’s Academy of Business, Leadership & Entrepreneurship with developing professional networking skills, while also building a local professional network of support.

Speed Networking will offer students at Innovation Central High School’s Academy of Business, Leadership & Entrepreneurship the opportunity to connect with 30 local professionals for a fun, energetic, and skill-developing event.

Endless Opportunities was founded to create empowering experiences such as this for local youth. Students will spend 2 minutes with 30 local professionals from various backgrounds such as business, technology, health/medical, government, education, and entrepreneurs. All professional volunteers will be evaluating students on their handshake, professional attire, 30-second commercial, resume, and their ask for the professionals’ business card at the conclusion of their interaction. This is the second event this year that Endless Opportunities hosted in partnership with Innovation Central High School.

AJ Hills, IV, co-founder of Endless Opportunities, created this event to help build networks of opportunities for local GRPS students. “I remember being a student in GRPS and there weren’t many opportunities provided to cultivate the importance of networking and surely nobody offered us a scholarship to practice.” said AJ.

Scholarship Breakdown: First Place $250, Second Place $100, Third Place $50

Event sponsors include Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. and Inclusive Performance Strategies.
