GRPS Hosts Fall Montessori Conference

Grand Rapids Public Schools and the Montessori Advisory Council will host the first Fall Montessori Conference on Saturday, September 30, from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at Innovation Central High School.  Grand Rapids Public Schools serves over 950 Montessori students in three public Montessori schools, Grand Rapids Montessori, North Park Montessori and Ridgemoor Park Montessori.

Grand Rapids Public Schools and the Montessori Advisory Council will host the first Fall Montessori Conference on Saturday, September 30, from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at Innovation Central High School.  Grand Rapids Public Schools serves over 950 Montessori students in three public Montessori schools, Grand Rapids Montessori, North Park Montessori and Ridgemoor Park Montessori.

In order to support all returning and new Montessori families, the district is offering a free Fall Montessori Conference, featuring keynote speaker Jonathon Wolff.  Jonathan is the founding director of Learning for Life and Montessori Leadership.  He is the author of several books and workbooks for teachers, administration and parents on how to create a successful Montessori community. Following the keynote address, participants will participate in breakout sessions at the primary, elementary and adolescent levels. A continental breakfast will be served, and child care will be provided.
